The Admissions Process at Arlington Christian School

Step 1: Application, Records, & Fee

Submit the following documents to the Admissions Of?ce along with the application fee of $150 (the application will not be processed until the fee is received):

    1. A completed Admission Application.
    2. A clear copy of the student's report card for the current school year.
    3. Copies of the student's report cards for the previous two (2) years.
    4. Copies of the student's standardized Achievement Test Scores for the previous two (2) years.
    5. Copy of the student's current immunization record, Georgia Form 3231.
    6. Completed recommendation forms from the student's (grades 5-12) current English teacher and Math teacher, a counselor or principal, and a minister or youth minister. For grades K-4 will be required to have completed reference forms from one teacher and two personal references, preferably one being a minister/youth minister.
    7. Student's birth certificate (required for Kindergarten and 1st grade only)

      Step 2: Testing

All applicants for K-12"" grade are tested. Applicants for 2"’ through 12* grade must score at grade level or above in reading and math to be accepted. A time will be scheduled for the student when all of the above documentation is received by the school.

Step 3: Enrollment Appointment & Principal Interview

Based on an opening, acceptable school records, references and test results; your child will be scheduled for a personal interview with one of our principals. At least one parent must be with the prospective student at this interview (both parents are more than welcomed). Prior to this appointment, families should review the ACS Parent-Student Handbook and be prepared to ask any questions you may have.

Should the presiding administrator, based on this interview, offer ?nal acceptance of the student to the family, the enrollment contract will be explained and offered. Once the contract is signed by the parent and student, students in grades 7-12 will meet with a counselor or administrator to discuss course selections and requirements.

As you make application, keep in mind that our concern is for the happiness, success and development of your child. We promise to provide a quality education in a Christian environment. Our teachers, administrators and programs all work together to provide a safe and pleasant environment where your child’s character will develop and mature. Your involvement in Christian education is an investment in your child’s future.
