Download an Application

1	Complete and return the Application for Admission. Please enclose the non-refundable $150 application fee.
2	Complete and return the Transcript Release Request form.
3	Provide the school with 3 references. When your application is received by the Admissions Office, you will be given three reference forms and three return addressed, postage-paid envelopes. These three forms should be completed and returned to ACS by people who fit the following categories: An adult who knows your child well. A minister, youth minister, or Sunday school teacher from the church where you attend. An academic classroom teacher from your child's most recent school.
4	Preschoolers do not take an exam for entrance until they are in our K4 class and being assessed for admission to Kindergarten.<p> Candidates for admission to Kindergarten and First Grade take the Gesell School Readiness Test. Please allow approximately 45 minutes from the time you arrive with your child. These assessments are performed individually. Please see Mrs. Martin for an appointment.<p> Candidates for admission to Grades 2-12 take the Comprehensive Test of Basic Skills. Please allow three hours for this process. The CTBS may be given in conjunction with your child's classroom visit.
5	Based on an opening, acceptable school records, references, and test results, you and your child will be scheduled for a personal interview. At least one parent must be with the student at this.
