Joseph Kirkland
Joseph Kirkland is thrilled to be directing music at Arlington Christian School. A life-long musician from Blackshear, Georgia, Mr. Kirkland is classically trained in the disciplines of Voice, Percussion, and Classical Guitar. He comes from a long tradition of family musicians and has had experience playing every genre, both popular and academic. While attending Georgia Southwestern and Georgia State Universities, he was able to study the techniques/methods of all instrument groups along with Conducting, Advanced Music Theory, and Piano. Joseph maintains a busy performance schedule, performing as a solo artist and with the Georgia State University Classical Guitar Ensemble. He is also involved with the Atlanta Guitar Guild’s Education Outreach Program. Joseph loves teaching music in a Christian environment because he, like Bach, believes that music is the language of God!
