Below you will find the summer reading list for grades K-5
Grades K- 2 Summer Reading Requirements 2011
Each child entering or returning to Arlington Christian School must read five picture or chapter books during the summer break. Students entering kindergarten and first grade may have books read to them. Students may select books of their choice - each book should be appropriate for the child's reading level. Some suggested authors and titles are listed below.
Students must complete a note card for each book read. Each note card should include the information listed below. On the back side of the card, the student should draw an original illustration depicting one scene from the book. Every student will receive a grade for his/her summer reading. Note cards must be turned in to the teacher by Wednesday, August 10th . Late cards will not be accepted.
