M.A.C.S. Men for Arlington Christian School

An extension of PTF has been formed for the men of Arlington called “MACS” (Men for Arlington Christian School). We are very excited about getting fathers, grandfathers, brothers, uncles, and friends involved to help make our school the best that it can be!

In the past, functions of PTF have been handled primarily by the ladies. The men of Arlington Christian School collectively possess a tremendous amount of talent, expertise, and networking capability that has never really been tapped. Just by knowing who is on board, and where their interests lie, MACS can provide a substantial pool of resources to the school without any one individual having to sacrifice a significant amount of time or money.

M.A.C.S. Needs Manpower!

For optimal success during the 2007-08 school year, M.A.C.S. needs one or more ACS men to take a volunteer leadership role!

The individual or team of leaders will be the point of contact for projects around the ACS campus. Once a project is identified, other ACS men (dads, uncles, grandparents, nephews, sons, etc.) organize and set a time for "getting the job done."

To volunteer to lead M.A.C.S., contact PTF co-chairs, Christy Barge or Lisa Bishop.

MACS has business connections, relatives, or acquaintances who regularly provide goods and services that are needed by the school. How many times have you heard about something that the school had to buy and said to yourself, “If only I had known, I have a friend who could have provided that service for half the price!” Many of our men also have talents – painting, woodworking, gardening, etc., that can be put to good use.
