Welcome to the Arlington Christian School web site.· Arlington Christian is an independent K-12 college preparatory educational institution with over 50 years of tradition and success.· Our mission is concise and clear, “Helping children grow as Jesus did, in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man.”·
Our pledge is to work closely with parents to insure the success of their children in higher educational and professional pursuits.· The added element is an unwavering dedication to Christian based character development that creates the essential foundation for a purposeful life that brings value to both self and others.· Here we call it “The “Arlington Way.”
That “way” succeeds because Arlington Christian School is committed to the following principles:
- Excellence in Learning.· ACS faculty members are experienced and dedicated to the profession of educating children in a loving and personal manner.· Children are instructed, mentored, and inspired to pursue excellence in every aspect of their academic and personal lives.· In addition to completing their high school requirements, each year qualified ACS students successfully complete hundreds of collegiate hours through AP classes.
- Caring for Children.· The one constant you will find is an accepting and abiding love for the needs of each child.· That care is personal, profound, and lasting.· Late each spring, recent ACS graduates return from universities and colleges just to stop by and visit with their former teachers and coaches.· They come because the bonds they have formed are never severed from their experience at ACS.
- Spiritual Development.· We believe knowledge of God and his unending love for all men is essential in the lives of children.· We also believe success in life includes the foundation for building strong homes and strong relationships that are all rooted through a biblically based relationship with God.· At ACS students learn to love and serve others, to impact their communities for Christ, and to honor God with their lives.
