Ministry Staff
Ross Anderson
Education: Ross acquired a BA from Freed Hardeman University and a
M.A. of Religion from Harding University. Experience: Ross began his
career at ACS as a volunteer in 1986 and officially joined the faculty
in 1993. He has been the pulpit minister at Cedar Grove church on
Clark Road since 1981. Personal: He is married to Paula and they have
two children who both graduated from ACS.
Ron Edwards Education: Ron earned an A.A. from Florida College,
a BS in English Bible from Cincinnati Bible College, and a M.A. in Old
Testament Studies at Cincinnati Bible Seminary where he was
distinguished with the Medal of Honor for being the top graduate
student in Old Testament studies. Experience: He has been a full-time
pulpit minister for twenty years in churches in Cincinnati and
Atlanta. He is currently the preaching minister for the Church of
Christ - Jonesboro, where he has been for twelve years. This is Rons
sixth year as Bible faculty at ACS.
Mitch Grubb Education: Mitch received an A.A. degree from Freed
Hardeman University and a B.A. from Harding University while majoring in
history and minoring in Bible. Experience: He has been a song leader
for over forty years and taught Sunday school classes for over thirty.
Mitch has served as a youth minister for ten years in congregations in
both Tennessee and Alabama. He has served as a deacon or elder at
three different congregations throughout his illustrious ministry. He
began teaching and speaking in chapel at Christian schools in 1973 and
has subsequently served four different Christian schools. Presently,
he is serving as an elder at the Douglasville Church of Christ.
Chris King Education: Chris received his B.A. in Biblical
Studies from Heritage Christian University. He completed his Masters
of Art in
New Testament Studies (emphasis in History of Doctrine) at the Harding
Graduate School of Religion. At present, he is attending Georgia State
University studying to attain a Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies.
Experience: Chris is
approaching his seventh year as the Campus Minister at ACS. At ACS he
also serves as Director of Institutional Advancement. He is also the Associate
Minister at Cedar Grove Church of Christ, in Fairburn, GA, serving with Ross Anderson.
Sheryl Reagan Education: Sheryl attended Abilene Christian
University in Texas, earning a B.S. Ed. in physical education and the
State University of West Georgia where she procured a M. Ed. in the
School of Counseling. Experience: Ministering in the field of
education for twenty-two years, Sheryl has spent the last seventeen
years teaching and coaching at ACS. Personal: George Reagan has been
her husband for twenty-six years and they are the proud parents of two
ACS graduates - Andrew, an Auburn alumnus, newlywed, and commercial
pilot; and, Julie, a fifth-year senior at UGA, majoring in business
and political science.
