Ron earned an AA from Florida College, a BS in English Bible and a MA in Old Testament Studies from Cincinnati Christian University. He has been with ACS for 13 years.

 

 

Victoria Rudd: Art

VIctoria received her BA from East Carolina University with an emphasis in painting. She shows her work in galleries and juried art exhibitions. She commissions for private and commercial murals.

Susan West: Spanish K-12/Speech

Susan has been with ACS for 14 of her 21 years of teaching. She received her BA in French and Spanish from the University of Georgia and attended Georgia State University, Valdosta State Univ and Jackson State Univ for Teacher Certification. Her husband, Frank, is a Union City Firefighter and they have on son, Tyler. Her hobbies include reading, crafts, and gardening.

Lady Grooms: Elem/MS/HS PE/Basketball Coach

Lady Grooms is a former professional basketball player, who was one of the 16 original WNBA players allocated to the teams in the new league's Initial Player Allocation draft.  Prior to her professional career, Lady was an All-SEC standout at the University of Georgia.   After her college career, she played 8 WNBA seasons and had career averages of 4.6 points and 2.1 rebounds per game, scoring over 1,000 career points and 500 career rebounds. After eight seasons in the WNBA, Lady retired in 2007.  She has been coaching at Arlington Christian School since 2008.

Richard Bomar: HS Health/PE

Richard graduated from Jacksonville State University and has taught and coached in Fulton County Schools for 30 years. He has been here at ACS for three years.

Robert Edwards: MS/HS PE/Football Coach

Robert Edwards is a former standout running back in the SEC, NFL and CFL .  Edwards was originally recruited as a cornerback at the University of Georgia, but converted to running back after his sophomore year.  As a running back, he set UGA records including scoring five touchdowns in one game.  Edwards was chosen by the New England Patriots in the first round of the 1998 NFL Draft as the 18th overall pick.

David Enlow: HS Science

David has been involved in Christian Education for 26 yrs-22 here at ACS as Head of the Science Dept. He received his Masters Degree from Harding University in Searcy, AR with other degrees from Perimeter College and Harding College. His hobbies include coin collecting, movies, karaoke, and running. He has been married for 30 years to Janice and they have two sons.

Dee Bowen: HS Science, Biology, General Biology, Forensic Science, Anatomy & Physiology

Dee has been at ACS for 10 years. She obtained a BS in Medical Technology from Georgia State University, a M.Ed. from Walden University and her teaching certificate from the University of West Georgia. She is currently working on her M.Ed. in Secondary Education from Western Governor's University. Her hobbies are playing music and reading. She and her husband, Donald have two daughters, three 'rescue' dogs, and one hamster.

 

David Kee: Business/French/Bible/Soccer Coach

David has taught at ACS for a total of 11 years. He grew up in Geneva, Switzerland. He earned his BA from Harding University and an MBA from the University of West Georgia. His hobbies are playing the piano, reading, and traveling. He is married to Paige and they have two children: Taylor and Alyssa.

Mitch Grubb: HS Social Studies, Girls Volleyball/ Track Coach

Mitch has received an AA from Freed-Hardeman University, a BA from Harding University, and MAT from Middle TN State University. He has been at ACS for 11 of his 34 years of teaching. His hobbies include riding his Harley, traveling, and reading. He is married to Martha and they have three children and seven grandchildren.

 

Becky Lee: MS English/10th English

Becky graduated Magna Cum Laude from Middle TN State University with BS in Elementary and Special Education. She has been with ACS for 11 years and has received the Madeline S Brownlee Teacher of the Year Award in 2004.

 

 

Martha Grubb: HS Math

Martha has a BS in Secondary Mathematics from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She has been at ACS for the last 10 years of a 24 year teaching span. Her hobbies are riding her Harley-Davidson Softtail Deluxe and traveling. Her husband, Mitch, have three children and seven grandchildren.

 

Alice Jackson: HS English

Alice has been with ACS for seven years. She received her BA in English and French from Agnes Scott College, Decatur and Juris Doctor degree from Regent University, Virginia Beach, VA. Her hobbies include reading, gardening, cooking, and music. She and her husband, Craig, live in Newnan.
