From Newnan
– Take Highway 16 toward Carrollton. As you approach Carrollton,
pass JEFF’S EXXON on the right. At the first stop light past Jeff’s
turn right onto Oak Mountain Road. Go approximately one mile to a
4-way stop and turn right. The road will fork and you will bear
left. Oak Mountain is about ¼ mile on the left. Turn in the main
entrance at the top of the hill. The gym is the building on the far
left. The softball field is visible on the left before getting to
the main entrance.
From
Atlanta – Take I-20 West to Exit 24
(Highway 61). At the top of the ramp turn left onto Highway 61.
Stay on Highway 61 until you come to the Carrollton Bypass (Ryan’s
is on the right) and you will be turning left onto the bypass. Take
the first left at Old Newnan Road at the traffic light. Once you
turn onto Old Newnan Road there will be a State Farm office on the
right. Travel to the 4-way stop and continue through the
intersection. The road will fork. Bear left onto Cross Plains
Road. Oak Mountain is on the left.
From
Arlington – Go left on Ridge Road, left on
Highway 92 North, through the 4-way stop at Charlie’s, cross the
Chattahoochee River and bear left on Highway 166 West. Cross
Highway 5, Post Road and enter Carroll County. At the traffic
light, turn left onto Highway 61. Travel 2.9 miles to the
Carrollton Bypass (Ryan’s is on the right) and you will be turning
left onto the bypass. Take the first left at Old Newnan Road at the
traffic light. Once you turn onto Old Newnan Road there will be a
State Farm office on the right. Travel to a 4-way stop and continue
through the intersection. The road will fork. Bear left onto Cross
Plains Road. Oak Mountain is on the left.

South through Fairburn and Fayetteville following it all the way to
Griffin. At 19/41 take a right. After passing the IHOP restaurant,
take the business loop of 19/41. Follow that until it dead ends
into Highway 16 (Wendy’s will be on your right). Take a left on
Highway 16 and follow that into downtown Griffin and the First
Baptist Church is on the right at 106 West Taylor Street.

Take Hwy 92 South. Travel through Fairburn and Fayetteville. From
Fayetteville, continue approximately 20 miles south on Hwy 92. The
church and school will be on the right. There is a lake in front of
the church.
From Points North
Take I-75 South to the Griffin/Jonesboro (19/41) exit,
just past the Atlanta Airport. Follow 19/41 South into Griffin. Just
past the North Griffin Square Shopping Center (Applebee’s, Hardees',
McDonald’s) on your right, there is a major intersection. At the
traffic light, take a right onto GA Hwy 92. This is the same as W.
McIntosh Road. The church is about one mile on the left. (Lake in
front of the church)
From Points South
Follow 19/41 North, just past the Spalding Village
Shopping Center (Western Sizzlin, Blockbuster Video) on your right,
there is a major intersection. At that traffic light, take a left
onto GA Hwy. 92. This is also W. McIntosh Rd. The church is about
one mile on the left. (Lake in front of the church).
