Admission to Arlington

The following are
the basic steps for your child's admission to Arlington Christian
School. Please contact the Admissions Office if you have any questions
regarding the application, what steps to take, or the school's
programs in general.

Complete and return your
Admission Application and enclose your $150.00 non-refundable
application fee.

Complete and return your
Transcript Release Request. This form is to be returned to the
Admissions Office with the application and fees.

Provide Arlington with
three references. When your application is received by the Admissions
Office, you will be given three reference forms and three
return-addressed, postage-paid envelopes. (Printable versions of
these forms are available in PDF format in the left column of this
page.) These three forms should
be completed and returned to Arlington by the people who fit the
following categories:

An adult who
knows your child well

A minister,
youth minister, or Sunday School teacher from your church where
you attend

An academic
classroom teacher from your child's most recent school

Take the admissions test.
Your child will be scheduled for the next available admissions test
date. Please notify the Admissions Office if there is a conflict
with the date scheduled. Get
admissions testing information and dates.

Complete the Enrollment
Contract. Secure a contract
from the Administration Office.

Interview. Based on an
opening, acceptable school records, references and test results,
your child will be scheduled for a personal interview. At least one
parent must be with the prospective student at this interview (both
parents are more than welcomed).

application, keep in mind that our concern is for the happiness,
success and development of your child. We promise to provide a quality
education in a Christian environment. Our teachers, administrators and
programs all work together to provide a safe and pleasant environment
where your child's character will develop and mature. Your involvement
in Christian education is an investment in your child's future.
Admissions
Testing Information and Dates
The following dates have been set
up for our admissions testing for prospective students. Arlington
has two tests that are required for prospective students - the
OLSAT 8
and the Stanford 10.
The Stanford 10 has to be scheduled on one of the following test
dates:
The average time needed to complete
the Stanford 10 is two hours. Please schedule your Saturday
accordingly.
The OLSAT 8 can be scheduled on a mid-week basis with Sara Martin or
Karen Powell.
