Parent Handbook

The Parent Handbook provides parents, guardians, and family members of ACS students with useful information about the school. The handbook offers advice on staying connected with your student, and the essential role a parent plays in supporting both the student and the community.

  • Q.:Will I Fit In?A.: So how are you supposed to know if you will fit in at the school you choose? Students who do well at ACS are involved in leadership or service on campus and in the community. Our students enjoy the challenge and personal attention offered in small classes. Each ACS student defines their academic experience when arriving at Arlington. We're here to answer your questions and point you in the right direction as you consider ACS.
  • Q.: Will I Be Ready for College?A.: The 2011 graduating class received 100% acceptance into colleges and universities. The 28 graduates were awarded a total of $916,000 in scholarship offers.
  • Q.: Should I wait until high school to enroll?A.: Recent entrance examinations have demonstrated that many students waiting to enroll in middle school and/or high school lack adequate reading, composition, and math skills. Arlington Christian elementary school offers the proper foundation for a successful transition to college prepatory work.
  • Q.: Does ACS offer AP courses?A.: Yes, in 14 different disciplines.
