A-Team for Academic Excellence

Arbor Place Mall and Wellstar Health Systems are teaming up for a fifth year to kick off the 2005-06 A-Team. The A-Team is an academic incentive that offers rewards to students, schools and teachers throughout the metro West Georgia area.

The A-Team is open to any ACS student in grades Kindergarten through 12. To join the A-Team, students must present their report card, signed by a guardian, to the Guest Services Center at Arbor Place Mall within 30 days of its issue date. For every A (or equivalent grade), children receive on their report cards, they will get an entry form for grand prize drawings. Drawings will be held once per month from now through June 2006.

For the 2005-06 school year, the A-Team will continue to recognize the monthly grand prize winner with a $500 Arbor Place Mall gift card to be shared equally between the winning student and ACS. New for event, the program will now start awarding a $100 Arbor Place Mall gift card to the teacher of the winning student.

In addition, the A-Team is having a membership drive to increase student participation. The school that has the most new students sign up for the A-Team through the end of November will receive a $500 Arbor Place Mall gift card. The second and third place schools will win prizes of a $250 and $100 respectively in the form of a mall gift card.
